On Saturday at around 6:30 p-m. Sheriff deputies were dispatched to an injury accident near Nickerson Blvd., and Millwood.

It turns out that a 2002 Chevy Blazer driven by 19-year-old Taylor Breann Ayres, of Newton was eastbound on Nickerson Blvd., when the vehicle went into the south ditch and the driver then over corrected causing the vehicle to skid across the roadway before rolling 2 times before coming to rest in the north ditch.

Ayres was transported to Hutch Regional Medical Center with lacerations to the arm and also complained of shoulder pain. His passenger, 15-year-old Mariah Donta’e Oden of Hutchinson was not injured, but transported to Hutch Regional Medical Center as a precaution.
