Man Suspected In Prairie Dunes Area Burglaries In Court again Wednesday

The man suspected of a number of burglaries in the Prairie Dunes area of Hutchinson was in court again Wednesday morning and told that six more charges have been added to what he was already charged with.

Rusty Bryant was told that he now faces two more charges of burglary, theft and criminal damage to property. The crimes occurring over the same basic period of time as the previous allegations.

Bryant is already charged with four counts of aggravated burglary for break in’s at homes where someone was home, five counts of burglary of a dwelling or home, and four counts of auto burglary. All of this occurring in the Prairie Dunes- Linksland Drive area in suburban Hutchinson. Most of the crimes occurring between July 5, and 11.

Sheriff investigators did a search of his residence at 1001 E 12th, and allegedly items consistent with property reported stolen from the recent burglaries were seized.

Bond for the new charges was set at 5-thousand, 750-dollars, plus the 15-thousand dollars from the previous charges.
