Two people were taken to the hospital in Pratt after a two vehicle crash in Pratt County on Tuesday.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 29-year-old Jennifer Michelle Barton of Pratt was southbound on K-61, while the vehicle driven by 54-year-old Stephen Christopher Hazen of Ellis, Kansas was northbound. He apparently made a right hand turn into a private drive and attempted to make a u-turn. His vehicle then struck the side of Barton’s vehicle. Her vehicle ended up facing south in the the southbound lanes, while Hazen’s vehicle continued south and flipped on the passengers side coming to rest traveling north in the northbound lanes.

Both were taken to Pratt Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries.

The accident occurring around 12:30 p-m, Tuesday afternoon on K-61, about a half mile north of U-S 54 highway in the city of Pratt.
