The 35-year-old Hutchinson man arrested Friday for Direct Contempt did make a court appearance today and Deputy District Attorney Tom Stanton indicated in court that he plans to file a misdemeanor count against Jason Hadley for violating a condition of his bond that he not make contact with witnesses in one of his pending cases.

Hadley was arrested Friday for direct contempt count and Judge Joe McCarville ordered him to jail with no bond. That stands as of today, however he will be in court Wednesday for a status hearing on all three matters.

In court Monday, he was read the complaint in his latest drug case. In that case, he is charged with three counts for the sale of methamphetamine, allegedly less then a gram each time. He is also charged with two counts of unlawful use of a communications facility namely a telephone to arrange a drug transaction and no tax stamp for the drugs.

Around 11a-m, this past Monday, members of the Reno County Sheriffs Office arrested Hadley for the alleged sale of methamphetamine with the crimes occurring between July 14 and July 30, the date of his latest arrest.

He was initially arrested back on July 19 on distribution of drugs charges for allegedly being in possession of steroids, in fact there were allegedly 16-glass bottles inside his apartment. A search of a vehicle he was in that night led to the discovery of a flashlight. Inside was allegedly a baggie containing 18-grams of ice methamphetamine, and they also found one Diazapam pill, not in any bottle, inside the apartment.

Hadley in that case is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell within a 1,000 feet of Holly Cross School, possession of steroids with intent to sell, possession of the pill, and no drug tax stamp.

Again, he will be in court on Wednesday where no doubt, his bond will also be brought up, and also where his cases stand.
