A 33-year-old Halstead woman was taken to the hospital late Sunday after a one vehicle accident along U-S 50 southeast of Hutchinson.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Never Annie Field was eastbound when she struck a cow that apparently had gotten loose and was crossing the highway.

Field was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.

The accident occurring around 10:40 p-m Sunday night on 50-highway near Kent Road.
