A Washington County, Kansas couple each received maximum sentences for child sex crimes, Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt said Wednesday.

40-year-old Troy Jearald Fencil, of Greenleaf, was sentenced to 218-months in prison. He pleaded guilty last month to charges of aggravated criminal sodomy, aggravated indecent liberties and sexual exploitation of a child.

30-year-old Virginia Fencil also of Greenleaf, was sentenced to 137-months in prison. She pleaded no contest last month to one count of aggravated criminal sodomy and two counts of aggravated endangerment of a child.
