A 15-year-old Haven girl was taken to the hospital after a one vehicle accident on K-17.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the teen was northbound when her Chevy Suburban left the road on the right side of the highway. She then over corrected and her vehicle then overturned and landed in the west ditch.

She was wearing her seat-belt at the time of the crash, but was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.

The accident occurring around 4:15 p-m Monday afternoon on K-17 at Silver Lake Road, about 14-miles south of South Hutchinson.
