ABILENE – Dickinson County Attorney Keith Hoffman died unexpectedly Saturday evening at his home.

That information has been confirmed by the Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home in Abilene. No cause of death has been given, but it is not believed to be suspicious.

61-year-old Hoffman was in his second term first served in office. He served as county attorney in the early 1980′s for 12 years. He was elected again to the office in 2008.

Funeral services for Hoffman will be Thursday at 1 p-m, at the New Basel Church south of Abilene.
