A 19-year-old Hutchinson woman was taken to a Wichita hospital for treatment of a possible head injury after she wrecked her vehicle on 11th Street at the entrance to Hutchinson Community College, the Kansas Cosmosphere and Gowen’s Stadium.

According to Hutchinson Police, Nicole Sullivan was eastbound and for an unknown reason, veered to the left and the jumped the median and struck a light pole.

She was taken to the helicopter landing pad at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, then flown by Midwest Lifeteam Helicopter to Wesley Medical Center. She was listed as serious when she was taken from the scene.

The accident cause all four lanes of 11th to be shut down while Reno County E-M-S, Hutchinson Fireman, and Hutchinson Police worked the accident scene.

The accident occurring at approximately 6:20 p-m.
