Three people were taken to a local hospital after a two vehicle crash at U-S 50 and Yoder Road.
Both vehicles were traveling eastbound on 50-highway and the vehicle driven by 19-year-old Jose Felix Padilla-Parra of Hutchinson failed to stop at the stop light at that intersection and struck the vehicle in front of him. That vehicle was driven by 57-year-old Curtis Schrader of Hutchinson.
Three passengers in the Schrader vehicle were taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment. That included 50-year-old Kelli Pifer, 30-year-old Amy Michelle Ray and Briley M, Ray all of South Hutchinson.
Niether Padilla-Parra or his four passengers were injured, nor was Schrader.
The accident occurring around 6:50 p-m Sunday evening about a mile southeast of Hutchinson.
There is a lot of road construction in that area of U-S 50, but whether that was factor in the accident is unknown.
