ANTHONY – A 67-year-old Hazelton man was killed in a one vehicle accident on Wednesday.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, James H. Lewis was traveling east on K-2, when his vehicle left the roadway. He then over-corrected and his Peterbuilt semi overturned in the south ditch. He was pulling a 1981 Jack trailer.

He was not wearing a seat-belt according to the report and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident occurring just before 12:30 p.m., about three and half miles west of Anthony in Harper County.
