The initial autopsy results from an unattended death over the weekend appears to be “drowning.” That was the finding of the autopsy of Michelle Price. The investigation continues and Sheriff Randy Henderson anticipates it may be several months before toxicology results are available.

The investigation surrounds a reported drowning Sunday in a hot tub in eastern Reno County.

According to Sheriff Randy Henderson, at around 11:35 a-m, emergency crews were dispatched to a home at 3 N. Kent Rd., and when they arrived, they found 41-year-old Michelle Price deceased.

The home is the residence of Josh Rund and Ellen Stinbrink, who were allowing Price to stay there.

Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office as well as Death Scene Investigator John Tracy were called into the scene and worked until after 8 p-m Sunday night.

The autopsy Monday was conducted at the Sedgwick County Forensic Science Center in Wichita.
