A 41-year-old Hutchinson man is free on bond after his arrest early Monday morning for allegedly throwing a metal pipe through a neighbors kitchen window.

Arrested and charged with aggravated assault and two counts of criminal damage was Devere D. Aumiller of 1321 East 9th.

The victim alleges the pipe was thrown through her window while she was standing close to it. She was not injured, but apparently felt threatened when it came crashing through the window.

The incident occurring just before 1 a.m. Monday morning in the 1300 block of East 9th.

Because Aumiller was able to post bond, he should make an appearance in court later in the week. Aumiller was also advised of criminal trespass from the victims home.

He also reported to police that someone took his wallet from inside his residence.
