A 54-year-old Hutchinson man was arrested early this morning after the Reno County Drug Unit served a search warrant at his home at 4005 West 9th.
Matthew Anderson is charged with cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia with intent to cultivate.
Detectives says the found 12-marjuana plants growing, while 30-others had already been harvested. Plus, they say they found 37-starter plants which they say were in the beginning stages.
They also found numerous high intensity lights, exhaust equipment, timers, grow chemicals and PVC pipe. 219-grams of high grade marijuana was allegedly found safe inside the residence, as well as a digital scale and packaging materials were also found. No drug tax stamps were found on any of the marijuana.
Anderson’s bond set at 11-thousand, 500-dollars and he’ll be back in court on September 28.
