The preliminary hearing for a Hutchinson man suspected of a number of burglaries in the Prairie Dunes area of Hutchinson ended Wednesday with him being bound over on 14-counts.

According to Assistant District Attorney Daniel Gilligan, Rusty Bryant was bound over on 6-counts of aggravated burglary, 1-count of burglary and 7-counts of auto burglary.

All of the alleged crimes occurring in the Prairie Dunes- Linksland Drive area in suburban Hutchinson between July 5, and 11.

Sheriff investigators did a search of his residence at 1001 E 12th, and allegedly items consistent with property reported stolen from the recent burglaries were seized.

With him being bound over, arraignment on the charges will take place on December 3, in front of Judge Trish Rose.
