As we have told you, the new store will be a “Marketplace” store featuring many other traditional and non traditional items.
The new store will cover 122-thousand square feet, with officials saying it will bring 300 construction jobs to the area.
When finished, the new store will offer other items aside from food, including jewelry, a salon, and even home furnishings.
Although, the store at 30th & Plum is the newest of the four Dillon’s stores in Hutchinson, it’s 46-years-old, having been built in 1966. It will close once the new store opens.
The ground breaking is scheduled for this Thursday at 2 p.m.
