Kansas City Man Involved In Fatal Crash In Court For Robbery

A 31-year-old Kansas City man involved in a fatal accident back on October 26, and released from the hospital on Tuesday was in court Wednesday morning on another matter.

Keith Massey is charged for a simple robbery, after he allegedly tried to take keys by force from another individual. That occurring back on September 5.

Massey, you may recall was involved in the fatality accident that killed 37-year-old Courtney L. Morgan of Hutchinson and injured a third man, Marlon Brown.

Both Brown and Massey were taken to a Wichita hospital in critical condition.

The accident occurred when the driver failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway colliding with a short concrete structure and then rolling several times into a field west of that intersection. All three occupants of the vehicle were ejected in the collision sustaining extensive injuries.

Bond in the robbery case was set at 10-thousand dollars and he’ll be back in court on November 21.
