County Sales Tax numbers show very slight increase for August

Reno County sales tax numbers released Friday by County Treasure Clark Miller show a slight increase in the amount the county collected in August compared to July, but also above August of last year.

According to the numbers, the county brought in 334-thousand, 913-dollars in August, which is just over 15-hundred dollars more then July, and just over 19-hundred more then August of last year.

So far, the county has brought in just over 3-million, 23-thousand dollar for this year. Last year, the county brought in just under 4-million, 15-thousand, 900-dollars.
