Hutchinson Police report that they have received numerous calls of people receiving texts about a problem with their bank account. The number provided for them to call is (561) 232-3007.

This goes to an automated system asking for them to provide their bank card number. The text is originating from out of state and appears to be a scam.

Police are advising all residents who got this text, “Do Not” call and if you feel that there is a problem with your card or bank account to contact your bank directly.
