Your 7-Day Forecast For Hutchinson And South Central Kansas

The first measurable snowfall of the season is possible for late Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday evening. Portions of Central Kansas, along Interstate 70, has the greatest chance of accumulating snows. Most of the snowfall will be confined to areas north of highway 50 with a mix of rain and snow possible across Southern and Southeast Kansas. Initial thoughts suggest Central Kansas could see one to three inches of snowfall by Wednesday night.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Highs 55 to 60. Northwest winds around 5 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. A 50 percent chance of rain or snow in the afternoon. Breezy…cooler. Highs in the mid 40s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph becoming north 15 to 25 mph with gusts to around 30 mph in the afternoon.
