The weather the cause of a one vehicle accident in Pawnee County this morning.

Just before 9 a-m, 59-year-old Joseph Snyder of St. John was northbound on 40th Avenue on a snow-packed and icy road. He lost control of his pickup and slid into the east ditch and struck a tree.

He was taken to the Stafford County Hospital for treatment.

The accident occurring about 8-miles east and 9-miles south of Larned.
