A 23-year-old Hutchinson man now has bonds totaling 60-thousand dollars for suspicion of three separate burglaries.

Christopher Marr made a first appearance Wednesday morning where he was told by Judge Tim Chambers that he now faces charges for three burglaries including a local church with the judge setting a 20-thousand dollar bond in each case. However, it doesn’t matter because told the judge that he also has a parole hold from the Kansas Department of Corrections.

He’s accused of entering the First Baptist Church at 800 North Main and causing some damage to the structure. That report coming in around 11:45 p-m Friday night.

Earlier, an employee of Tobacco Town at 411 North Adams reported that someone entered their store and taking miscellaneous items.

He’s also suspected of entering the Shabby Chic Shop at 528 East 4th. Marr was arrested in the 200 block of West 4th Friday evening.

Charges include three counts of burglary-non dwelling, three counts of criminal damage, one count of theft, violation of his parole and interference with Law Enforcement.

According to the Kansas Department of Corrections, he was serving time for a conviction of aggravated indecent liberties with a child for a case out of Kiowa County and was supposedly paroled in Pratt County. He also served time for convictions of child endangerment and burglary of a non-dwelling also in Kiowa County.

Judge Chambers gave the state until Friday to file formal charges meaning he should be back in court then.
