A 48-year-old South Hutchinson man was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita Sunday after a one vehicle accident near the intersection of K-96 and Halstead.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Lawrence Armstrong was northbound on Halstead and failed to follow the curve, left the roadway and his vehicle then became airborne. His Chevy Silverado rolled down the embankment and came to rest.

Armstrong was wearing a seat-belt according to the report, but was still injured bad enough to be taken to the hospital.

The accident occurring about 7:20 p-m, on Halstead, just south of K-96.
