Reno County Sheriff Officers arrested a man on Monday for a series of burglaries in the Nickerson area in recent days.

Brandon Sutton faces 4-counts of burglary, 5-counts of felony theft and 3-counts of criminal damage to property.

The sheriff detectives also assisted the Rice County Sheriff’s Office with recovering stolen property and their investigation of a burglary that had occurred in their county.

A total of approximately $26,500 worth of property has been recovered and returned to the owners as a result of the arrest.

He made a first appearance on the charges Tuesday and requested a reduction of his 7-thousand dollar bond. That was denied and he is expected back in court on January 16, or whenever the state files formal charges.
