A Wichita man has been arrested in the break in at Westphal Jewelers January 12th. According to Hutchinson Police, 38-year old Derrick Glover was arrested at a Wichita residence over the weekend and is jailed on suspicion of theft, burglary and criminal damage to property.
According to police, a second man was also taken into custody, and is likely connected to the same crime, while a third suspect is still being sought. He was identified as 44-year-old Francis Johnson was arrested on a Reno County warrant in a separate case January 16th, and was brought to Reno County last Wednesday.
The third suspects, name has not been released. Authorities believe the three are responsible for driving a stolen car through the front of the jewelery store, and steeling numerous items. The three may also be connected to a similar crime at a Wichita pawn shop.
