A Hutchinson man remains jailed on a 19-thousand dollar bond after he was arrested Friday by the Reno County Sheriff’s Department.

Kendall Kirkwood faces two counts of burglary, three counts of theft and two counts of criminal damage.

Kirkwood was allegedly seen at a home where officers knew no one was currently living. A traffic stop was later conducted on the vehicle he was driving and electrical wire was recovered that had been removed from a detached garage.

The Hutchinson Police Department also later recovered property that had been taken in a burglary within the city. Property was also recovered that had been stolen at other areas within the county.

Unless he post the 19-thousand dollar bond, he should make a first appearance on the charges Tuesday.
