The 17-year-old convicted of being involved with numerous church burglaries is scheduled for a hearing once again to determine is his Community Corrections will be revoked. That hearing again scheduled for Friday in front of Judge Tim Chambers.

Joshua Hickey had been sentenced back in November to 32-months in prison, but then granted 24-months community corrections. He then violated his corrections, but Judge Chambers granted him a second chance on corrections after serving a 30-day sanction.

But, 7-hours after being released from jail, he then allegedly broke into a local store and two churches. That included burglaries of Dillon’s 1319 North Main, Trinity United Methodist church, 1602 N. Main and the First Church of Christ Scientist located at 1400 N. Main.

He’s charged with 3 counts of burglary, 1 count of arson, 2 counts of criminal damage, 1 count of felony criminal damage, 3 counts of misdemeanor theft, 3 counts of contributing to a child’s misconduct or deprivation, 1 count of unlawful possession of a prescription, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. But, he has the presumption of innocence in this new case and no probable cause has been made on whether that case should go to trial.

So, what will happen on Friday is completely up in the air at this point. But, should anything come of the hearing, we of course will let you know.
