Hutchinson Police have informed a business going door to door trying to sell alarm services that they will no longer be allowed to do so. A-1 Protection Services (Protection 1) was not approved for a peddlers license.

Police say that if anyone comes to your door trying to sell merchandise or services, you can ask to see their peddlers’ license which is required if you request it. If they come to your residence and they don’t have one, you should call 911 or the police main number 694-2816.

They also ask that you try to get the best description you can of the person along with their current location. That would help them in their investigation of that individual or company.
