A 55-year-old Hutchinson man was taken to a Wichita hospital after a vehicle motorcycle accident in Hutchinson on Monday.

Paul Gelineau of Hutchinson was first taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, then later transferred to a Wichita hospital for treatment of injuries.

The accident happened around 5 p-m, when 83-year-old Doloris Lewis of Hutchinson was attempting to turn on 30th. She apparently pulled in front of the motorcycle that Gelineau was riding, this in the 900 block of East 30th.

Lewis was not injured in the accident but was cited for failure to yield. 30th Street was closed while emergency officials worked the accident.
