BURRTON – The Harvey County Drug Task Force on Thursday discovered marijuana cultivation in a residence in the 100 block of West Market in Burrton.

Seized from the residence were a number of marijuana plants, cultivation materials, marijuana, a marijuana lighting system, marijuana stems, seeds and a firearm.

56-year-old Kenneth Aich was taken to the Harvey County Detention Center where he is awaiting formal charges from the Harvey County Attorney’s Office.

Agencies involved in this case included the Burrton Police Department, the Newton Police Department, the Harvey County Sheriff’s Office and the Reno County Sheriff’s Office.
