A 29-year-old Hutchinson man is jailed on total bonds of 11-thousand, 750-dollars after he was arrested Friday evening on drug charges.
Joshua Bietka of 3305 Ridgewood, Apt., B is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell and no drug tax stamp.
It started just before 4 p-m on Friday when he was allegedly observed with another white male on 30th Street at a car wash across the street from K-Mart. The deputy then approached the two men, and one fled the scene, while Bietka was told he was under arrest for active warrants. The deputy then did a body search and alleges he found a sandwich bag containing 4.75 grams of Ice Meth in one of his pockets. He then alleges he found another bag of meth in a stall of the car wash, where the other man had fled. That bag reportedly weighed 28-grams.
They then did a search of the vehicle Bietka was reportedly in, and allege they found a scale with residue on it, owe sheets, along with several notice to appear in court papers in the vehicle.
His bond in the drug case is 10-thousand dollars, but has bonds in other case bringing the total to 11-thousand, 750.dollars.
He was in court Monday for a first appearance on the charges, and is expected back in court again on Wednesday.
