MANHATTAN – One person died and three were injured as the result of an early Sunday morning shooting incident in Manhattan.

Riley County police said they responded at 4:10 a.m. to a complaint of multiple shots fired at 900 Garden Way in Manhattan. Shortly after arriving on the scene police found several victims of gunshot wounds plus a single subject who was taken into custody. The RCPD said that person’s name is being withheld pending further investigation and notification of next of kin.

Three victims were transported to emergency medical treatment centers and one person was fatally wounded at the scene. The names of the victims are also being withheld at this point.
