We’ll have to wait a little longer to see if a 30-year-old Wichita man absconded from bond and arrested in Iowa on Reno County charges will face trial.

Tebelle Brooks was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to package drugs for sale. The alleged crimes occurring on February 1, 2012.

He apparently failed to appear in that case leading to a 75-thousand dollar bench warrant and was eventually located in Polk County, Iowa. He also has a bond of 15-thousand, 500-dollars or a charge of aggravated failure to appear.

The drug case comes as result of two drug related searches, one for a vehicle he was in and one for a motel room he was staying at the Astro Motel. In the room, detectives allegedly found a quarter of an ounce of crack cocaine, packaging material and a digital scale.

The hearing was scheduled for Tuesday in front of Judge Joe McCarville, but has been pushed back to April 30.
