A 41-year-old Chase man was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center Tuesday morning after a one vehicle accident in the county

It was reported a 1:20 a-m, when sheriff deputies and EMS were dispatched to U.S. 50 and the Sylvia bridge for an injury accident.

They found that Frank Janda, of Chase had been driving westbound on 50, when he lost control of his 2000 Ford Focus and ran off the road. He then hit the guardrail which knocked him across the roadway striking the opposite guardrail.

Janda was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center with undetermined injuries.
