Work on Waldron to accommodate the new Dillon’s Market Place Store in northeast Hutchinson will begin Monday.
Waldron Street will be closed to all through traffic from the back of the Pic-Quik, at 30th, north to 33rd, starting that day. This is for the purpose of completing a reconstruction of the street.
During the first week, the contractor will build a temporary access road for homes within the construction area. During this time, residents may only pass barricades and use the existing Waldron to access their homes.
Once the temporary access road is built, Waldron will then be closed to all traffc. Once that happens, the temporary access road will not run the entire length of the construction project.
Resident home starting with 3000 and going to 3108 North Waldron will access their homes from 30th. Residents with house numbers 3202 to 3208 North Waldron will access their homes from 33rd.
