HAYS – 46-year-old Clinton Eugene Snavely, and 51-year-old Beverly Ann Snavely, both of Hays have been charged in Ellis County District Court with multiple counts of child sexual abuse.

Clinton Snavely was charged with one count of rape, six counts of aggravated criminal sodomy, two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, one count of criminal sodomy, and one count of indecent liberties with a child. The charges against him allege the abuse started in 2002 and continued through 2011.

Bevery Ann Snavely was charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sodomy, one count of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, and one count of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child. Her charges allege the abuse began in 2005 and continued through 2007.

Both remain in the Ellis County Jail in lieu of 250-thousand dollar bond each.
