Through the generous support of sponsors, the Kansas State Fair has announced that up to 2,000 tickets to the upcoming Toby Keith concert will be made available free of charge to active-duty Kansas military personnel.
State Fair supporter Steve Dillon has committed to raising the funds needed to provide these deserving military personnel with this opportunity. “This has been a goal of mine and for the last couple of years I have worked with the team at the Kansas State Fair, Toby Keith’s management and the Kansas military to make it happen. Besides raising the funds, the biggest piece of the puzzle was getting Toby Keith on-board and committed to our project,” said Dillon.
The complimentary concert tickets, which include general gate admission, will be provided by the Fair to the bases for distribution. They will be available at the respective locations for The Kansas National Guard, Fort Riley and McConnell Air Force Base beginning May 13. Each location has identified a distribution method and can be contacted individually.
