The Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce has announced a special Lunch and Learn session on Project Management for Friday, May 17, at Hutchinson Community College Shears Technology Center. It will run from 11:30 a-m – 1:00 p-m.

The class, taught by Rob Timmerman, Senior Project Delivery Manager for Shell Oil, will cover best-practices to most efficiently plan, execute, and operate projects to help influence the future of a business and maximize value for customers.

This session will be ideal for both manufactures and small businesses of any kind. During the class, participants will learn to lead a project by establishing direction, aligning people, and motivating them to successfully complete the project.

They will also learn to negotiate resources, contracts, cost, and schedule, problem solve by identifying symptoms and making decisions and influence the organization by understanding structure, the mechanics of power and politics, and how to get things done.
