A 20-year-old Wichita man was in court this morning for the second time in two days, after he was arrested again on Wednesday evening for distribution of marijuana.

Garrett Ketley is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell within a thousand feet of Yoder school. He was in the passenger seat of a vehicle which was stopped in the 10-thousand block of South Yoder Road. That led to a search of the vehicle where around 241-grams of marijuana was allegedly located. The pot was reportedly under the seat of the vehicle. Ketley after being read his Miranda rights allegedly told drug unit detectives that the pot was his and that he was intending to sell it.

Ketley had been in court Wednesday morning on an earlier case where he was also charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell, no tax stamp and possession of marijuana. This arrest coming back on April 26 and in that case, he allegedly had at least 450-grams, but less then 30-kilograms of marijuana.

Because of him now being charged with two distribution cases here in Reno County, he’s jailed on a 150-thousand dollar bond.

He also has a warrant from Harvey County for distribution of marijuana where he allegedly had a half pound of marijuana.

It’s believed that he may have been taking trips to Colorado and purchasing the pot and bringing it back to Kansas.

He’ll be back in court on the two Reno County cases on May 29.
