Police And Emergency Crews Respond To Disturbance At Local Motel

A disturbance at a motel in the 100 block of West 4th, Tuesday afternoon resulted in two men being taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment.

43-year-old Mickey Scott who lives at the motel got into a fight with another person staying at the motel, that being 40-year-old Casey Snider was pretty much on the loosing end of things when a female friend Snider allegedly stuck Scott with a large stick or board. Scott was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the incident, that according to police.

Two ambulances were called to the scene and took the two men to the hospital, however both ambulances left the scene non-emergency, meaning they didn’t have lights or sirens on.

Scott and Snider were arrested for battery, while 19-year-old Brittany Hurt was arrested for aggravated battery. Snider was also arrested for tattooing without a license.

Scott is free on bond, while Snider has a bond of 15-hundred and Hurt has a bond of 10-thousand dollars.
