
A large wedge tornado landed around Bennington, Kansas Tuesday evening.
NWS Topeka confirmed that it was a very large, slow moving wedge tornado. It has set off debris sensors, however. Anyone in Bennington or Minneapolis should consider it an imminent threat and remain in shelters.
Another tornado had landed in Corning, KS around approximately 4:00 pm earlier in the day. Corning suffered scattered damage, including some buildings that were completely destroyed.
