A 77-year-old Wichita man was taken to Wesley Medical Center after a two vehicle crash in McPherson County Monday afternoon.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Juvinico Lara was south bound on I-135 in the right hand lane traveling slowly when a vehicle driven by 44-year-old Joseph Stackhouse of Blaine, Minnesota rear ended Lara’s vehicle. Stackhouse’s vehicle spun into the center median, while Lara’s vehicle came to rest in the west ditch.

Lara was transported to Wesley for treatment, while Stackhouse was taken to Mercy Hospital in Moundridge for treatment.

The accident occurring around 3:30 p-m, Monday about three and a half miles from Moundridge.
