An 18-year-old Hutchinson man accused of numerous charges associated with burglary and theft for break-in’s of vehicles and residences was scheduled for a preliminary hearing today. But, because the state filed yet another case against Gabriel Sanchez, Jr., it was decided between the state and the defense that the case be transferred to Judge Tim Chambers court where there may be some resolution to all the cases then.

The latest case also involves burglary and theft with the suspect supposedly breaking into the home belonging Hutchinson Vo-Tech where he allegedly stole tools. That according to the states complaint occurring on March 31, of this year.

In the other cases, he allegedly took numerous items taken from various victims, and is charged with seven counts of theft, residential burglary, two counts of auto burglary, forgery, and 5-counts of criminal use of a financial card.

The crime spree started around March 31, and again on April 1, of this year, but the most recent charges are associated with crimes on April 23rd, and 24th.

His bonds on the now four separate cases set at 50-thousand, down from the original 77-thousand dollars, but he remains in the Reno County jail.

The hearing in front of Judge Chambers will on October 14 at 10:30 a-m.
