Hutchinson police Sgt. Rob Rowe identified to us the victim of the industrial accident Monday at Tyson Foods.

Andrew Williams lost part of his arm in an industrial accident at the Tyson Foods plant in Hutchinson.

His arm was caught in a conveyor belt and he was pulled in the machine on Monday afternoon. He lost his arm from about the elbow down.

He was flown by Midwest Lifeteam Helicopter to Via Christi’s St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.

The incident reported around 4:25 p-m, with police, fire and EMS being called to the scene.
