Governor Sam Brownback announced Tuesday the appointment of another member to the Kansas State Fair Board. Cindy O’Neal, Lawrence, is being appointed to a three year term.

O’Neal earned a bachelor degree from Washburn University. She is currently the Chief of Staff for the Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee and is assistant to Assistant General Manager for the Kansas State Fair.

The Kansas State Fair Board is a 13 member board appointed by the Governor that decides policies for the fair.

The fair itself is the showcase of Kansas agriculture, commerce and industry, while at the same time presenting great entertainment and great food.
