He has been investigated over the years but never arrested or convicted of various drug crimes, until this morning. Members of the Drug Enforcement Unit served a search warrant at the home of 43 year old Arnoldo Serrano around 2:15 this morning and booked into jail for possession of meth and cocaine with intent to distribute, along with charges of conspiracy. Bond for Serrano is set at $250-thousand dollars.
During his first appearance Sr Assistant District Attorney Tom Stanton indicated that law enforcement has had an eye on Serrano for a long time, but were never able to make an arrest. He was found with a large amount of cash, Meth, and a sellers quantity of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Because of his ties to Mexico and possible past criminal activity, magistrate Judge Randy McEwen agreed to keep the bond where it is. Serrano is due back in court July 17th.
