To help kick off the State Fair’s 100th birthday celebration at the 2013 State Fair, they are planning a parade on labor Day,  September 2nd. General Manager Denny Stoecklein says the parade will tie in nicely to the 100th birthday celebration of the fair which starts September 6th. Stoecklein says any entries must coincide with the 100th birthday of the fair, and is open to anyone.

The parade will start at 3pm, at 12th Avenue, and run north to the west gate near Skaets restaurant. A special party for parade participants will follow near Lake Talbot. If you would like more information you can go the State Fair web site, or call the State Fair office at 669-3600.
