For the second consecutive year, Hutchinson’s Historic Fox Theatre has announced plans to host a date on this summer’s Tallgrass Film Festival Road Show. The program is scheduled for Saturday, August 10th at 7:30 p.m.Now entering its 11th year, the Tallgrass Film Festival showcases the best of
independent cinema from around the globe, including foreign, documentary, short, retrospective and premiering films. The four-day festival screens more than 100 films each year in Wichita. This year’s Festival is set for October 16-20.

The Tallgrass Road Show was created to give theatres outside Wichita the chance to experience some of the most entertaining and informative films from the Tallgrass Film Festival in their own communities. The Fox Theatre program will include approximately ten short films intended for general audiences. Total running time is about 90 minutes.

Tickets to this year’s Road Show are $5.00 each, buy one get one free. Seating is general admission. Tickets may be purchased at the door beginning at 5:30 p.m. the night of the program. Fox Theatre gift certificates may also be purchased in advance and exchanged for Road Show tickets at the door.
