Hutchinson Public Schools will conducting a budget workshop at 6:15 p-m, on Monday, July 22, at the Administration Center, 1520 North Plum.

Lori Blakesley, executive director of fiscal management and business operations for the district, will lead the workshop. Blakesley will review how a school budget is put together and give the broad outlines of the fiscal year 2014 budget.

A quorum of Board members may attend the workshop, however no binding action is expected to be taken.

The Hutchinson School Board will get their first formal look at the 2014 budget at their meeting that same evening which begins at 7 p-m, in the board room of the Administration Center.
