A 29-year-old Hutchinson woman is expected back in court Wednesday after she was arrested over the weekend for charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, criminal discharge of a firearm into a dwelling, criminal damage to property over a thousand dollars, felony flee and elude, driving under the influence and illegal transportation of liquor.

Laura Enriquez is alleged to have fired at a vehicle damaging windows in that vehicle but in the process, the bullets allegedly went into a home where there was a women and some kids.

She’s then accused of leading Hutchinson Police on a high speed chase for 15-minutes which ended in the 2700 block of North Tyler.

The gun involved was a 22-caliber according to statements made in court. Senior Assistant District Attorney Steve Maxwell told the court that police found 3-spent shells at the scene of the home, and 3-others were found in the gun.

In court, the state asked for an increase in her bond from 12-thousand 400-dollars to 50-thousand. Magistrate Judge Randy McEwen didn’t go that far, but did increase it to 25-thousand. He also ordered bond supervision and no contact with the victims at the request of the state.
